Taiwan Music Showcase

"Taiwan Music Showcase" (TMS) is a dedicated showcase platform for music. Through its event planning, the platform brings together musicians, music groups, producers, managers, distributors, scholars, institutions, and festival representatives to showcase promising new works and musicians, as well as outstanding pieces worthy of recommendation. For musicians, in addition to the opportunity to present their work, the platform also assists them and their managers/producers in planning related matters, including program design, presentation methods, pre-event preparation, on-site communication strategies, and strategic arrangements for follow-up communication. The goal is to create an environmental system that tightly integrates "sustainable production, stable marketing, and market promotion" through the music showcase interface and with the music agency system as the core.

Since 2020, performances have been limited by the COVID-19 pandemic, shifting from live performances to online formats. This pandemic-related restriction has spurred the development of online performances. TMS has invited numerous domestic and international performing groups, musicians, curators, and venues to participate in online and offline events, and to participate in the online discussion and speaker pitching sessions.

TMS Stage launched its open call for submissions in 2022, providing Taiwanese independent musicians and bands with a channel to access the international market by soliciting submissions of music-based performance productions or crossover works. Selected works will be broadcast online on "TMS Choice" and will also be matched with domestic and international arts and culture professionals, opening up opportunities to enter the international market and giving them the chance to participate in the presentation of the "One More Festival" hosted by Studio Acht.
