This program emphasizes a "decode and deconstruct" approach to concert guidance. Through live demonstrations and analysis of musical excerpts, seemingly complex sonic textures are broken down into rhythmic modules, extended techniques, methods of timbral generation, and structural units—helping audiences build a progressive, comprehensible path toward listening. At the same time, this series draws on intertextual comparisons between classical and contemporary works to show that contemporary music did not emerge out of nowhere, but continues to respond to, transform, and extend existing traditions within its historical context, enabling audiences to understand contemporary music as a natural outcome of aesthetic evolution.
