Tunings of the World 2.0-Plur(e)alities in Music

This is a project initiated by Thomas Bruns from Ensemble KNM Berlin. With the theme of various cultural aspects under the phenomenon of globalization, we will explore the aesthetics and definitions of music art in each country. This series will be premiered in Berlin and will tour around the world. As one of the cooperators, we will host the performance in Taiwan and present the VERY-FIRST of Karlheinz Stockhausen “Musik für ein Haus” in Asia,  with Ensemble KNM Berlin, Taiwanese musicians and composer.

Tunings of the World 2.0 is a project by the Ensemble KNM Berlin in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Taipei, the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Chennai, Studio Acht Taiwan, Jinju Music Festival (JMF) and Berghain Ostgut GmbH. Funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation, the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe and the National Found of Culture & Arts (Taiwan).
